hello. as sausage woman I make pots and (giant) puppets. they are two very different things but sausage woman is always there. i like the concept of character a lot. it's in clay in the way it moves and feels, and builds, breaks, and melts. and i put it into puppets by looking at how a being may style themselves through their movements or the clothes they wear. things change, but one thing is certain for now: all my works have a face. i v. slowly work from my studio in brunswick, melbourne, australia, most days of the week. rush is no (wo)man's friend. |
